What we do
The objectives of this Council are:
To promote the organization of the workers generally and of public employees in particular.
To advance the social, economic and general welfare of public employees and retirees.
The Council shall endeavour to bring member Locals into closer relationship by:
a) assisting them to co-ordinate their efforts to improve the conditions of employment of their membership.
b) gathering and dissemination of information.
c) rendering such other services as they may require from time to time.
d) encouraging and co-ordinating the formation of a “Retirees Association” from each affiliated Local for the purpose of bringing the concerns of our Retirees to the proper political bodies.
